After 34 years of teaching
“Miss Annette” still feels the joy and satisfaction that working
with young dancers brings. She ran her own studio for over 20 years
and has students who have moved on to perform for Walt Disney World,
on Broadway, with the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC),
Dayton Ballet, and currently has 4 students pursuing professional
careers in dance and performance in New York City. The competitive
end of her studio, her "Red Shoes Dance Team", enjoyed many years of
top awards both on a regional, national, as well as international
level including winning a silver medal at the IDO international
dance event! Annette continues to further her own dance training and
teaching techniques by attending regular classes, judges for
competitions on an international basis, and teaches master classes
across the country.
