diane kirwen
Diane graduated from Otterbein College with a BFA in Arts
Management/ Public Relations and a minor in Dance and Choreography.
She has been dancing since she was three with classical ballet and
jazz as her main focus. Diane danced and interned with BalletMet
Columbus and also performed with the Worthington Civic Ballet
Company for many years. While attending college she choreographed
stage productions such as "Wizard of Oz", "Fiddler On the
Roof", "Sound of Music"; as well as original works that
toured Columbus area schools. Diane was a member of the
award-winning Dance Team at Beavercreek High School, 3 years
bringing home the National Championship. She also worked as the
Wellness Program Director at Riverside Methodist Hospital teaching
and overseeing many types of aerobic and fitness classes. Diane
comes to us with over 20 years of teaching experience and has been
teaching at MDC for 5 years now. |
