Emily has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and hip hop,
most of which she learned in her 9 years studying and competing with
Mason Dance Center. She has attended such conventions as LA Dance
Magic, Hollywood Vibe and Dance Caravan - which she continues to
attend in her spare time. In addition to studying at MDC, in high
school Emily gained performance experience as a member of the Next
Generation Dance Company. She was also a member of the Mason High
School Dance Team for four years and served as a team captain and
choreographer. Emily currently attends the University of
Cincinnati where she is majoring in nursing while also
taking dance classes at the College Conservatory of Music. She is
continuing her dance career as a member of the National
Champion Bearcat Dance Team. While dancing for the Bearcats she has
had the opportunity to work closely with nationally known
choreographers Jeannine Sabo and Barry Youngblood. In addition to
teaching at MDC, Emily is an instructor for the Universal Dance
Association. |
