emily wyatt kettula
Emily received her BA in German Literature
at the University of Cincinnati as well as a scholarship to study
for a year at the University of Essen in Germany. She then returned
to MDC after a year of studying and dancing in Germany. Emily
has been dancing since she was three, mainly focusing on classical
ballet. She has taught dance for 10 years.
Her choreography has won top awards at competitions, as well as at
the Annual Young Choreographers Showcase at Burklyn Ballet Theatre.
She spent 8 summers dancing with Burklyn Ballet Theatre in
Vermont. Emily has performed many roles there, including
soloist parts in LaBayadere and Don Quixote, as well
as acting as counselor and Choreographer in Residence. Emily
danced with Northern Ballet
Theatre in Nashua, New Hampshire in 2004.
Emily is currently completing her Masters in German literature.
She also is a regular sub at MDC as well as one of our team
choreographers. |
